Important Medicaid Billing Updates
Effective August 1, 2024, Molina Healthcare of Wisconsin, Inc. has implemented the following changes to our billing processes to comply with ForwardHealth Topic #7479 and August 2024 update.
For the most effective payment processing, please:
- Bill on separate claims if the provider(s) are enrolled as individual practitioners.
- Read through the limitations. The Molina system will deny claims submitted with more than 12 units billed for one date of service.
- Bill travel time on the same claim as the professional services. Use the appropriate place of service and code 99 for the travel.
