Behavioral Health Listening Sessions

In Virginia, some important changes to Medicaid behavioral health services are happening to help people who need support with their mental health.
The Virginia Appropriation Act of 2024 has allowed The Department of Medical Assistance Services (DMAS) to make these services better:

  • Mental Health Skill Building
  • Psychosocial Rehabilitation
  • Intensive In-Home Services
  • Therapeutic Day Treatment
  • Mental Health Case Management Services for kids and grown-ups

 

DMAS is working on creating new and better services and our goal is to have these new services start by June 30, 2026. 

DMAS wants to know what people think about these services, especially the ones who use them, like kids, adults, and their families. Your ideas and suggestions are very important.

Would you like to share what you think about these services? You and your family are invited to join a special meeting to talk about what's working well and what could be better.
Your thoughts are valuable and can help improve things.

Diabetes Clinic

Join us for a diabetes clinic held on the second Tuesday of each month

Services offered include:

  • Foot care education
  • Blood Glucose monitoring
  • Foot care education
  • Continuous glucose monitoring setup, and more
